A cancer diagnosis can be intensely frightening for new patients. We are here to provide both the medical and emotional support they need to achieve the best outcome.

If you suspect or have already diagnosed cancer or a non-cancer blood disorder, Iowa Cancer Specialists can help your patients get the advanced care they need. We have successfully treated a wide variety of cancers, from breast and lung cancer to melanoma and prostate cancer. We’re also experts in anemia, hemophilia, and other blood disorders.

The Referral Process

To refer a patient to Iowa Cancer Specialists, simply call (563) 345-4325 during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday) or fill out the Provider referral form by clicking the link below and fax to us at 563-345-4326 or email to info@iacancer.com.  In most cases, we can see new patients within a week of referral.

You will need to provide the patient’s name, contact information, and a brief description of the health issue. We will contact the patient directly to set up appointments for an initial consultation and any additional lab tests or diagnostic imaging that is required.

You will receive ongoing updates about diagnosis, treatment, and overall progress. We will work closely with you to coordinate care for any other health issues your patient may be experiencing.
